Yes indeed – as part of our whole new “clean site” rollout – we’ve got a sweet-ass photo gallery up. Ok, its not exactly OUR photo gallery, but harvesting good shit from Flickr that is tagged as our club. Check it out.

The Show ARCHIVE section is totally new – and still being tinkered with as we speak. You can check out old shows that you might have been to, played in, been tossed out of, etc.

Lets say you take pics at a show. Awesome. Put that stuff on Flickr like you normally would – tag it as ‘valentines’, ‘albany’, ‘ny’ (yes, all 3 tags) and it’ll show up on our gallery page (with a link to your Flickr page, of course).

But wait, there’s more!

If you ALSO tag the photo / set with the show date in the format of 08.26.2010 it will show up in the ARCHIVES section forever too. Cool, right? I think so, now somebody go do it so I have some Flickr galleries to test with!

On the web at least. Welcome to the new streamlined website – better, more complete (and more updated) show listings, and a dedication to having as much info as you need on every show. Enjoy.

Side note to all local bands booking shows here: Get a “press photo” and we’ll post it on your listing.

NO we won’t post a logo, NO we won’t post your seizure-inducing show flyer that your buddy made by cutting and pasting tons of shit into photoshop. The point is to make the show listings look LESS like a flea market. Respect in, Respect out.
